If you are an EU citizen with children in the UK, it can be complex to figure out if your child needs their own immigration status. As a result, many EU citizens with EU Settlement Scheme status has not applied for status for their children.
Whether your child needs to apply depends on several factors. This includes their place of birth, if it’s it inside or outside the UK, and each parent’s immigration status. To help make this area more approachable and ensure EU parents are aware of the situation of their children, covered this area in our May Information Session for EU citizens.
